In summary, it was an excellent accommodation for our holiday in Calabria, which lasted three weeks or a month. The apartment was clean and well cared for in every detail. The person who welcomed us was extremely kind and willing to help us in every way. The central location allowed us to easily reach the sea, which has received the blue flag for the sixth consecutive year, and the various beach resorts without having to use the car. Even though the large and free parking behind the building was very convenient. Among the sports tournaments organized by the beach clubs, the guided tours, and the venues along the seafront, even my children, who are usually very demanding, felt at home in Soverato. We will definitely be back!
I looked for accommodation for a few days to attend various conferences and this place was perfect. The apartment was clean and welcoming, and the location was ideal, with practically everything within reach. The sea was less than a ten-minute walk away, and I enjoyed taking breaks to relax, take a walk in the center or along the seafront, where there were many bars and places to stop for food and drinks. I will consider it for the future and I am sure my wife would enjoy spending time here.
Taking advantage of the beautiful weather that lasted well beyond the summer months, my friends and I treated ourselves to a week’s holiday in Calabria. Choosing Soverato turned out to be a winning move: crystal-clear sea, endless beaches, and various places of historical and artistic interest to discover. I highly recommend this property. Impeccable cleanliness and hospitality, spacious areas equipped with all necessities, and a central location. The check-in staff offered us a wide range of tours not only within Soverato but also in various places in the region easily reachable by train (the station is just a few steps from the apartment!). Two of us study archaeology and fell madly in love with the area. In our opinion, a trip to Reggio Calabria to see the famous Riace Bronzes is unmissable. Superb!

In May, my boyfriend and I spent a week in Calabria and we chose Soverato as our base for getting around because of its strategic location. The apartment turned out to be not only very clean and well-equipped but also convenient due to its central location and the free, spacious parking. For us, traveling by car, it was very convenient. The host, who handed us the keys upon our arrival, gave us extremely valuable advice on what to do and places to visit. The city is very nice and full of attractions. It was pleasant to stroll along the seafront and in the historic center where you can admire grand, old buildings. In the time we had, we managed to visit various beaches along the coast and characteristic villages in the Calabrian hinterland. One day we decided to dedicate entirely to discovering Catanzaro, the regional capital. The host kindly accompanied us on our tour, showing us many things and telling us lots of interesting anecdotes about the city's history and its legends. It's certainly not a metropolis, but we didn't mind it at all. The Mediterranean Biodiversity Park is beautiful and worth the whole trip!
My friends and I booked an apartment at this property in July. We had to go down to Soverato for the wedding of a very dear friend of ours and we took the opportunity to spend two non-stop weeks at the beach. We arrived by car from Padua and it was very convenient to find (as we had been told) a large free parking lot. A friendly and easy-going guy was waiting for us to hand over the keys and gave us lots of tips on where to eat well and cheaply and especially what to do in the evening. The apartment met our expectations: spacious, equipped with all the essentials, and very clean. The location is excellent, right in the center. The beach is easily reached on foot as is the promenade, which in the evening comes alive with numerous places to eat and drink, but above all to dance and have fun as we intended to do throughout our stay there. The sea in Calabria is amazing. It's a shame the vacation is over, but we would love to come back!
My partner and I had a really great experience at this property. The apartment was spotless and equipped with every comfort. Plus, it was located a short distance from the station. This was mainly what convinced us to choose it because our trip was almost entirely based on using trains to move from one area to another, and Soverato did not disappoint (there is also a well-connected bus service for those who prefer it). This way, we were able to reach not only some very interesting nearby places, but also venture further and reach the other side of the coast. The villages of Tropea and Pizzo are absolute must-sees, little gems overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea that we will hardly forget. You can visit both in a single day, as well as Reggio Calabria... a stop at the archaeological museum to admire the Riace Bronzes is a must!

It was wonderful to return to this beautiful region after 10 years! My husband Robert and I decided to take a two-week holiday in Calabria to celebrate his recent retirement. We wanted to stay in a seaside town that would also allow us to easily reach other areas of Calabria. In this regard, I must say that Soverato turned out to be an excellent choice. The apartment we booked at this property was very close to the train station, not to mention the fact that it was in a very central location which allowed us to easily reach both the historic center and the sea. The girl who showed us the house gave us many valuable tips about the areas that are easiest to reach by train and offered us her time and knowledge by offering to accompany us on our trips. She was an indispensable guide for us, as we knew little about the region and its endless beauties!!! The apartment itself is very spacious, clean, and well cared for down to the smallest detail. The welcome gift we received upon arrival, with various little items to make our stay more pleasant, was lovely. It may seem like a small thing, but these are the details that make the difference!

First time in Calabria in search of archaeological sites to study for my doctoral thesis. It was very useful to stay in Soverato for two weeks. The apartment is comfortable and close to the train and bus stations, which made it possible for me to reach some of the many archaeological sites that characterize Magna Graecia, essential stops for lovers of the ancient world. I especially recommend the village of Squillace and the Scolacium park with its museum. Soverato also has an ancient history that amazed me. From Soverato Superiore you can admire a breathtaking hilly landscape where you can visit the remains of what was once called “Suberatum.” Now, unfortunately, my journey has come to an end, but if I need to return for more in-depth research, I will certainly consider this accommodation, which managed to meet my needs from every point of view.

The accommodation was practically new and my family and I felt right at home! Nothing is missing. All amenities are present: washing machine, air conditioning, large shower, kitchen with induction hob, dishes, cutlery and everything you need to cook if necessary, clothes drying rack, refrigerator and two large balconies. The location is excellent because you can find everything right downstairs and you are near the main street with a pedestrian area and just steps from the Soverato seafront. In 5 minutes on foot you can reach Bar Morè, the local meeting point where you can have exceptional breakfasts and aperitifs.
The host was present but never intrusive and always available.
We will definitely return.

Living at Casa Ludo for 3 weeks was fantastic.
The apartment was perfectly located in the city center but far enough from the chaos, so it was quiet. It is a new apartment, so everything worked perfectly and it was very clean. We had a wonderful time at Casa Ludo. Our apartment was the Mediterana. Great location with a fantastic balcony on the 4th floor. We really enjoyed the view over the city rooftops. You feel like part of Soverato. With a wonderful cool breeze, the sun doesn't hit the balcony hard, only a little in the afternoon. All the windows are equipped with mosquito nets. At 30 degrees, you don't need air conditioning. The hosts are super friendly and very helpful. From the beginning of the booking we were in contact via WhatsApp and were able to travel with peace of mind. They were always available for questions or requests. The sofa bed is very comfortable. It turns into a real bed with slats and a mattress, and folds up easily, allowing you to use all the space during the day. We really slept very well. On foot, the beautiful beaches are easily reached by crossing the city. Our children, aged 5 and 6, walked without any problems. The Carrefour supermarket is reachable in 5 minutes. All in all, fantastic. We will gladly return! Thank you for everything!
